Frank has a Bachelor in Software engineering and a Master in Computer science from the University of Stuttgart. After attending some lectures about chaos theory, he developed an interest nonlinear dynamics and worked as research assistant in this field afterwards. His research focuses on slow-fast dynamics and critical transitions in evolutionary games and applying these ideas to model cancer therapy.
In his free-time he likes playing the trombone and skiing.
